Karen and Greg's Excellent Guacamole

2-3 large avocados
1-2 cloves of garlic
1-2 limes
Kosher Salt
1/4 c cilantro, minced
1 whole small white onion, chopped
12-16 cherry or grape tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tsp minced chili, such as serrano, or dash of hot sauce

Mash the avocados with the garlic and salt to taste, until the mixture is almost smooth. Add the juice of the lime, half a lime at a time, to taste. Add the onion, tomato and cilantro, and, if desired, the chili.  If chilling, add one of the avocado pits to keep the Guac from turning brown.
