Mountain Muesli
Mountain Muesli (adapted from The Kitchen Goddess by Susannah Narayani Levine)
Serves 3
1 C Rolled Oats
2-3 Tbsp Gold Flax Seed
3 C Milk (or milk substitute)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
½ C Real Maple Syrup
Seasonal Fruit of choice such as peaches, apricots,
strawberries, blueberries
Toasted slivered almonds or hazelnuts to top
Mix the first 5 ingredients with the fruit and let
rest in the fridge overnight. Ladle into
bowls and top with 1 tbsp of nuts. Eat
outside and enjoy!
