Taking My Own Advice
Absent a plane ticket and a fist full of cash this spring break, I explored Denver with the city-dwelling boyfriend. Of course we did it with food, and a little art. What could be better?
We began with an al fresco lunch at Osteria Marco where we enjoyed sun, sparkling Pinot Grigio, grilled artichokes, cracklins, a cuban pannino.
Then on to the Denver Art Museum for the Georgia O'Keeffe and Charles Partridge Adams exhibits. Of course we had to visit Sandy Skoglund's "Fox Games."
In between and when in residence in Greg's artist garret, we made ceviche and pizza margherita.
